J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gamma Networks (New Delhi) en nov. 2020
Entretien
The interviews were very smooth and very professionally done. Problems started with easy level and gradually the level went up.
The judging was mostly on the thought process, the approach I took to solve the problems, and not the correct and precise solutions.
I personally liked the overall interview experience, not only because of the smooth interview process, but also that the people discuss about your future goals and your personal growth also.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Questions were mostly related to design and data structures.

Entretien
I had been contacted for interview at Gamma by the DoE. Needless to say, the interview process was a very unique one, and a little different from the usual FAANG approach where they grind over DSA mostly. Here, most of the problems were wrapped in a real World scenario and you could relate with how and why the approach to the solution should be taken
Interview was divided in 3 rounds:
- Object Oriented Round
- Solving a real World Problem
- DSA Round
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
1. Object Oriented Round consisted of proposing a theoretically working solution to a general purpose problem. You should be equipped with Design Patterns knowledge to clear this round. Though there was no single answer to the problem, my answer wasn't the one the interviewer expected, but since it was working as desired and was kind of flexible solution, I got this round cleared.
2. Solving a real World Problem: A data filtering problem was posed, I was expected to come up with a working solution within 40 mins. This was to evaluate whether you can do the task at hand. Maintenance and Code Quality was secondary, but coming up with working solution in given time frame was the primary goal. I had used Python to solve the problem, which wasn't logic-heavy, but implementation-heavy to pass all the corner cases and constraints.
3. DSA Round: A single problem was asked with some little variations as I answered to the basic problem. The problem was wrapped with a real-World scenario and made practical sense instead of just saying on the line that "do so and so with this array...". Problem difficulty level was Medium for LeetCode.

Interviewers generally assisted when I got stuck somewhere for long.
