J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez GameStop (San Antonio, TX) en oct. 2008
Entretien
Unfortunately, specialized game knowledge is second to your ability as a salesperson. All they want is someone who knows the alphabet and can count and can have a customer leave without being angry. If you're lucky, you'll interview with a store manager who actually appreciates video games, and you'll spend the interview chatting about your old Famicom. Prepare to be blindsided, however, by idiot customers who own Wiis without knowing how to pronounce "Super Mario Brothers" correctly.

Very simple and easy going. First was a group interview and then an official secondary interview at the store. Everything was communicated very well and all questions were relevant to experience needed.

Entretien
I was asked several behavioural questions, to determine my suitability for working in a retail environment. The focus was on my ability to learn and understand the store rules, as well as be able to handle customer needs. Very little was asked about video games.
