First you have to record a video responding to a couple of generic questions. Then there's a brief phone interview which was pretty basic. If you move on from there, then there's a large group interview. The group interview was a lot. It lasted about 2 hours and included learning more about the company, a group interview, a teaching sample, some camp games, and then a one-on-one interview afterwards.

On a scale of one to ten, how comfortable are you with being silly in front of a group.
There was a group interview on Zoom. We took turns answering basic interview questions, the everyone shared a quick camp activity they would do with kids. It was very straight forward and they tell you about their expectations for the camp activity before the interview so you have plenty of time to prepare :)

It was a fun and engaging interview process that measured a candidate's ability to adopt and live out the company's values. Galileo is a very value driven company, and becoming fluent in the language and philosophy of their company vision is one way to help prepare yourself for the position.

I received a phone call asking if I was available the following day for a group interview. The interview does last around 2 hours, but it can be fun. There are ice breakers, situational questions, and a 1:1 interview portion.
