      Entretien

      Interview process lasted over 2 months. At the two month mark I asked the hiring director what the remaining steps were and recieved what you see below. Mind you prior to this I had already done phone interviews with 2 different recruiters, and with the hirigin director, along with completing a technical exercise that their site didn't have updated documentation for. 1. Virtual Presentation 2. F2F Final round interviews in STL office 3. Reference Checks 4. Offer Virtual Presentation. This was done using a random virtual chat application, like Skype but not Skype. This particular app didn't support the user presenting from their iPad screen, which I was. This company is a primarily MAC house so this was a surprise and disappointment at the same time. The person I was "talking" with was at home, which is not uncommon, minus the fact that he was laying in bed. The process was extremely disappointing as I was turned onto this company by the founders wife, our daughters go to school together. I did all my homework, read and watched anything I could about the company and their business. I only found that I would not be going to the next step in the process because I emailed the recruiter as a follow up. At that time I was told they were going in a different direction, looking for someone "more technical".

      Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've done some research to understand our current interview practices - especially those related to the virtual presentation. Our video interview capability isn't well suited for iPads but can be accommodated. We are looking to improve the ability to interview on multiple platforms. I'm sorry the position wasn't a match. Thanks again for providing helpful feedback.

      The interview timeline is pretty standard from start to finish. Took about a month to complete. From recruiter interview to, hiring manager interview, EBR, CCAT test and interview with an executive

      1. HR Recruiter (30 min call to go over background and resume) 2. Hiring Manager (30-45 min zoom interview with behavioral questions but she was very nice and made it as conversational as possible) 3. Standardized test. (50 math, logic, and vocabulary questions in 15 minutes)

      Both interview were very easy, a couple of behavioral questions but nothing that was a surprise. After hiring manager, I was told to take a standardized test which in my opinion is BS given that those are known to be biased against minorities (I belong to a minority group). After the test, I never heard back from the HR recruiter. Note to recruiters: PLEASE TELL US IF WE ARE NOT MOVING ON IN THE INTERVIEW PROCESS!!!

      The interview process here was nothing short of a wonderful experience that left me wanting to work at Gainsight even more. Every interaction I had with employees, from recruiters to the CS team, showed me a glimpse of the amazing humans that work in the company. They were always super transparent and, although this time around it didn't pan out, I would apply again in the future.
