In my personal opinion this process was very slow and the offer low (60% of what similar companies offered me) without possibility to negotiate, also the HR would not give me details of the whole compensation package unless I accepted the offer. Even the expenses reimbursement process was extremely slow!
1) 1h phone screening with HR -> No news for about a month despite update requests from me.
2) 1h video interview (2 months after "1)") with 3 SC people
3) I was invited to an on-site interview (45 days after "2)") where I met 8 people-> nice plane seats, nice hotel, nice people.
4) I received a very deceiving low offer (20 days after "3)" more than 4 months after the process started!) -> Contacted the HR and tried to negotiate but was told it was a final offer, he mentioned a relocation package which was not defined yet, however for the offer to be competitive this package should almost double my salary which was not the case.
5) Declined GSK's offer and went to work for one of their main competitors for a similar role where I will do my best to have a very positive impact.
To wrap up, GSK was my absolute first choice before starting the process because of the role, company reputation and location, after going through this, I am deceived by this company, and in my case the HR was inefficient and definitely changed my perception of GSK.
