Recruiter knew more about the position and company than the hiring manager. Hiring manager was unprofessional, rude and condescending. She asked me four questions about the position after a 10 minute late start due to technical difficulties on Gallo’s end. Then she asked me if I would be renting or buying a home in Modesto. The next 25 minutes were awkward because she kept asking me if I have questions for her and then asked me what the most challenging part of this position would be after I asked her what this position will be prioritizing in the first 90 days. She was a seasoned leader who was completely checked out and knew that this interview wasn’t going anywhere after she kept me on the call for 25 minutes to talk about herself and couldn’t answer a question about her leadership style. It was overall disappointing because this is a fantastic company and brand. Was relieved after the terrible interview ended.
