I had two phone interviews. The first was with a finance manager and was extremely easy/enjoyable, seemed like a good fit. The second was with a Sr. Finance Director and had the same experience. However, the final interview was a scheduled phone interview and he immediately asked me if I would be willing to do a video interview. I wasn't opposed to it, but told him I was in my car parked coming from the gym. If I had known it was a video interview I would've dressed professionally and been prepared. Anyways, we proceeded with the phone interview. He didn't ask me any technical questions, only random fit questions such as favorite movie/musician/sport, etc. Even though it was an easy interview and he was nice, I was denied the job offer. I found this to be extremely disappointing because I felt like I was a solid fit with a lot of applicable experience. I was not asked any technical questions, nor about my experience and how it applied to the job. Overall, I felt like I was snubber of a great opportunity and let down by a casual interview experience.
