The process was nice and simple, I thought I was a great fit and was probably overqualified for the role I applied to. I reached out to the recruiter as soon as I saw the listing opened because I liked the way the company sounded and had been eyeing opportunities there for a while. It was nice that reaching out to the recruiter because I truly had interest in this company actually got me somewhere for once. I made it through 2 interviews, one phone call with the recruiter and one zoom interview with the project managers. They both went super well and I thought I had a good shot. I got a call the next day from the recruiter saying they offered the role to someone else and they accepted, which I did appreciate but also I probably could have asked what they had that I didn't.
