I applied online and received an email to set up an appointment to call within a week. I was nervous but I passed the telephone interview and invited to Colorado for a face to face interview. The whole time they were laid back, frustrated, and disorganized. When I got there we did a part where we read a part of the speech. I had practiced and am a forensics person so I know I did okay. Then we went for the interview and I made it passed the first interview (peer interview) the lady loved me and we joked and I even smiled and related and cheered on my peer. We were congratulated to the next round and when I came in the new lady Nedra immediately seemed put off by me and was more interested in my peer. This made me more nervous for I felt I needed to outshine my peer. When my questions came up she seemed more neutral, for my peer she seemed more upbeat and happy. I smiled and tried to give the best answers I could. After about 5 hours the recruiter called us into the hallway and said “Thanks for flying all the way out here but we aren’t continuing with you guys.” And “So you good?” And literally walked away. No reason why we failed. I was having such a good day making friends and sitting through presentations about the job like I was at training. I was even chatting with the recruiters and really having fun. I feel the reason I didn’t get it was towards the end I mentioned I had a disability (which doesn’t even affect me anymore) and I’m pretty sure that is what did it. I’m not completely sure but this is off putting for people who want to work here and get no hospitality. (Also my two 3 hour flights were horrible and my flights attendants were not very nice) so maybe I’m okay not working there. I’ll stick with Delta.
