      I made it to final rounds during June 2024, but was not made an offer. The interview process is 1 hr technical screen, then HR schedules a 1 hr system design, 1 hr coding challenge and a 45 min meeting with the CTO. The technical screen and system design interviews went fine, but I did not do well on the 1 hr coding challenge. The female swe interviewer was incredible disengaged right from the beginning and I started to anxiety spiral because of how she was treating me during the interview. The jr engineer on the call also did not speak or smile the entire time, which only added to my discomfort. I got red flags from the culture at Found, but continued to pursue them because I am currently unemployed. Some of the people I met were kind; some were really elitist. The "cultural values/behavioral" meeting with the CTO went okay. He's didn't seem particularly strong in people leadership. I'm not sure why they had him meet with someone at my level (I was interviewing for L2/L3). He seemed rushed during our interview and started off the call by saying he didn't look at my background at all before joining. I knew I could do better in the coding challenge and I believed the coding interview was not reflective of my skillset, so I sent the CTO a long thoughtful email describing my strong interest in the company and asking for another technical interview as well as further reflections on our 45 min conversation. He couldn't be bothered to respond and he had HR tell me that I'm not allowed to re-apply until 12 months later. I don't think this is really a place to stay long term. I also specifically asked every engineer on the team what career progression has looked like for them and no one had any good answers. There are so few reviews about this company that they might read this and begin to be more thoughtful and considerate in their hiring process. Companies might also turn around their callous and indifferent treatment of interviewees after tech climbs out of this tech recession.
