The job was no longer posted when I was offered an interview and when I asked for a copy of the description I was ignored.
Recruiting is one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. They are incredibly slow to respond and it can take days to schedule a next step once they ask for your availability - so much that I had to update my availability more than once after sharing it.
The actual interviews felt like I was talking to junior team members not a hiring manager. I went through what felt like the same interview more than once with the same person and when I asked why, I got no answer or something vague.
Despite spending hours with them, near the end of the process, I got a late Friday evening one sentence automated email saying they were no longer moving forward.
Biggest red flag was they asked for my last manager as a reference and would take no exceptions.
When I asked about culture, I was told the biggest strength the company had was that the CEO had had many children while in tenure, so they were friendly to parental leave. I am not a person looking to have children and as the only positive someone could say, that stood out to me.
