      Question 1

In retrospect, THEY gave misleading information to one of my questions, because of this, eventually I stepped down.

      Entretien

I was called by a recruiter after submitting my resume on a career site. The whole interview process took months. First, I was sent dozens of emails with forms to fill out and fax back as well as a couple applications and agreements online. I was then scheduled to complete a phone interview with an HR Generalist and was asked basic retail situational questions. At the end of that interview, I was invited to move forward and interview again with an HR Manager two weeks later. The interview with the Manager was basically the same, more situational questions as well as questions about my previous experience in management. I was told that I would be contacted based on my interviews at a later date to discuss whether I would be invited to a Panel Interview and presentation at the home office in Illinois. About a month later, I was contacted and invited to participate in the panel the next week. They give you one of three days to choose from and see the interviewees one by one. They fly you in, a basic one day turnaround. They foot the bill for airfare, food expenses, as well as the car to and from the airport for all of their prospective MITs. The panel interview consisted of three interviewers: an HR rep and I believe two district managers. They ask you about previous experience as well as a number of situational questions. At the end of your interview you make your presentation chosen from a list of topics provided. It was a lengthy process and quite an experience. Unfortunately, I had been told numerous times that I would be contacted "either way" to let me know how it all went as well as feedback on my presentation, however, it's been a month and I haven't heard a thing.
