I applied for a job and a few days later, I received an email from the recruiter to schedule an interview. After scheduling, I joined the meeting on the day of the interview and waited for 10 minutes, but the recruiter never showed up or provided any explanation. I sent a follow-up email, but supposedly it wasn’t received. A few days later, I got another email asking to reschedule, and we finally had the interview. During the conversation, the recruiter gave me positive feedback and mentioned that I should wait for the next interview to be scheduled.
However, the very next day, I received a generic automated email saying they decided to move forward with another candidate, with no further details provided.
