Had an initial 1 on 1 interview with an HR person to go over the very general job duties. Wasmt able to answer a couplenof questions as they were more technical about the job itself and were questions for the manager. Was a very comfortable setting and discussion. All went well until the end when I was told I was being moved to the next step and had to do a 'solo interview' basically a video recording of me answering specific questions. I was given about a week to complete. I thought this was very backwards especially since I had jist talked to someone face to face. Im not sure if that's the wave of the future for interviewing but that type of interview style is not personal at all. Maybe it has its place in other industries but this felt off and I decided not to move forward.
