they’re mostly just looking for a personality fit, you have interviews with quite a few different people but they’re not technical, they just want to make sure you’re somebody they want to spend 40 hours a week with :)

I first went through a qualification interview with the recruiter. Then went on to interview with a manager in person. 2nd interview was with a senior manager. 3rd interview was with another manager and an employee. 4th interview was via zoom with another manager. I received offer a week later but it was significantly below my current pay and position.

Had a phone interview, then two in person interviews on the same day.
The phone interview went so well the recruiter wanted me to go meet the manager that day. (That didn't happen)
I had the in person interviews Back to back and was in there for over two hours. I was asked regular questions and was told that I had great answers. I met with the manager as well as the regional who happened to be there. So then 10 days after the interview I was sent a no thank you email. Then a week after the no thank you email I got a phone call from the recruiter to ask me about the interview and basically to tell me no thank you again. Never had to deal wth that sort of thing. The recruiter told me filling their positions was hard and not everyone is the right fit. I understood and moved on lol.
I thought I had it in the bag, clearly I didn't.
