My onsite interview was supposed to be split into two days because I currently have a full-time job as an Executive Assistant at a high tech company. The recruiter was very nice in splitting it into two consecutive days on my lunch hour. However, that is not how it happened. I arrived for the first interview and talked to the exec that I would be supporting for approximately 40 minutes. She then told me that she got the rest of her team together to talk to me at once when she wrapped up. The final 20 minutes was comprised of 5 other people coming into the tiny meeting space to ask me very generic questions. Sadly I believe that where the went astray was when I was honest about how many children I have. (I didn't make that mistake again in future interviews with other companies.) The recruiter that they were using sent me an email stating that she would be in touch with their feedback, but I never heard another word from her.
