The interview process was great throughout until the end. Figma provided materials to prepare for the interview and both the recruiter and the hiring manager were very thoughtful and easy to talk to. I was in the process of scheduling another interview, when I was suddenly told they went with another candidate and the recruiter offered to call me. I emailed back to accept the offer of a phone call the following day and then never heard back. If a phone call wasn't really an option, it shouldn't have been offered.
