J'ai passé un entretien chez Fidelity Investments (Galway)
Entretien
Had initial interview for one role, only for that to be filled(after weeks not hearing back) and then encouraged to go for second role. Stronger candidate was successful I was approached a year later via linkedIn by HR. Decided to reapply. A few conversations by phone and emails to say really interested and they will set up an interview ASAP etc... went on for weeks/months as over christmas. Eventually my application was closed with no communication from recruiter and she deleted me from LinkedIn, highly unprofessional process and a waste of my time.

J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. J'ai passé un entretien chez Fidelity Investments
Entretien
Had 3 rounds of interviews. First 2 rounds were taken by individual. 3 round had 2 interviewers a male n female. Male panelist appeared very egoistic and woman phobic. He asked me question what I know about fidelity and said he wants to take people who knows what the company is. When I answered, he sarcastically said that I have mugged up the Wikipedia. I was like come on anyone will read that what’s wrong in doing that if I would have not answered would have rejected in ground that I don’t know what fidelity is. While concluding interview he gave feedback not on my technical but domain skill that I don’t know Asset Management domain I was like man you should have seen that in my resume first and not invited for interviews or are you first 2 round panelist out of mind who selected me. Whereas that guy himself doesn’t had any domain experience from his LinkedIn profile. Where the CEO is a female Abby Johnson I was shocked to see such male chauvinist person as VP and he was asking me would I like to come a level below and without me answering he is assuming that I do admin role will not be having hands on experience. Such panelist are blot to companies reputation. Where all companies go n hiring diversified including everything these folks have issues with woman leaders. May God give him some sense.
