J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Fidelity Investments (Durham, NC)
Entretien
This was an initial phone screening interview. I took a practice SEI Series 7 test as part of the required preparation. That result was not acknowledged during the interview. The process was to be a 2nd phone screen after an authorized credit check. The third interview was to be with hiring managers/ supervisors. The opening was not available until late April. I had applied at the end of January.
After learning what the position actually was (for the first 15 months, +/-), I decided to withdraw my application.

Question 1
The in-house recruiter asked me what I thought the job was.
She thanked me several times for "taking so much time". She had not specified the schedule she wanted the interview to fit within, and she had not done much to manage our interview time together. I have experience doing both with large groups for full days of other kinds of competitive interviews.

The interview process was quite easy with two steps:
Introductory Call with recruiter - make sure you're a right fit
Call with a team leader - Mostly behavioral interview utilizing STAR method.
Very corporate. Be ready for answering questions in STAR format. Also brownie points for knowing a lot about Fidelity. Obviously there are set questions the interviewer has to ask you. The more you know the better. They are very much wanting you to be 100% all in for working for fidelity.

They low balled the salary range and change it from what they offered in the original job posting. I would recommend looking elsewhere for this type of role unless you are okay with it as a starting position and are doing it for the educational aspect.
