I submitted my resume and was called in for an interview the following day. The in-person interview went SO well. She kept saying how much she liked me and my "look" and thought I would be a really good fit. I met with the CFO as well and they both said next steps would be to meet with Harry next via Skype or Facetime. I was even given a tour of Harry's office. I was asked to provide a headshot or picture when I got home so he could see who he was going to be speaking with. All of this seemed to be really great and moving quickly but then 2 weeks went by and I never was scheduled to meet with Harry. I had to follow up every week to see what was going on. Finally, she re-directed me to HR whom I never met and he broke the news that they decided to go with other candidates. It was extremely disappointing how the interview was conducted and how they went about it. I can handle rejection, but they need to learn to watch what they say and how they say it. They completely gave the wrong impression.
