First, I found it strange that the interviewers said several times "We usually hire recent college graduates." As a professional with over 20 years work experience, I found it odd that since they knew that I was not a recent college graduate, they still felt the need to keep reiterating this. After the unprofessionalism that I experienced, I think I may know why.
The process was quick, 2 phones interviews and an invite to interview in person in Colorado. The in person interview consisted of an office tour by a clearly uninterested HR person followed by a 30 minute IQ test, brain teaser on a whiteboard and a 5 minute presentation. The interviewers focused heavily on the brain teaser rather than discussing the actual job itself.
The person that referred me to the position let me know that they weren't moving forward with an offer before HR did - extremely unprofessional.
Finally, the uninterested HR representative left a voicemail that said "Um yeah, so sorry that your friend told you before we got a chance to. So yeah, we aren't moving forward with your application, thanks for your time." Click.
Is this how they treat people? After reading other negative experience interview reviews on here, I am shocked that they haven't taken the feedback more seriously.
I'm not sure if they hire young, recent college graduates mostly because they don't have a large reference point of what professionalism entails? Needless to say, I was not impressed and not at all disappointed that I was not offered a position. Thanks for the free trip to Denver though!
I applied through their job board and submitted my application. They got back to me very quickly for an interview, especially considering the job had been posted for months. The interview tested how you would approach a situation, asking questions about your resume, and determining if you were a good fit.

Question 1
Had you take a weird test, asked questions about how you would respond in different situations, had mind games at the end to see how you work through problems.
They ask behavioral questions like skills you think a training coordinator should have and walk me through a project you liked. Are you willing to relocate? It was a 30 minute preliminary interview. They asked how you organize yourself.
