I started with a 30 minutes phone call with the "Talent Aquisition Manager". The open positions on their website are confusing and use the same copy for several positions. My skills related to several positions, so I applied to all.
When speaking with the talent acquisition manager, I discussed several positions and my interest in the Account Manager position specifically. She insisted I would be a perfect fit for the Customer Support Analyst role, which turns out to be the lowest tier position in the company. I feel as though she had a quota and did not listen to me at all. This was proven later, when I told her that I went to college 2 times a week in the evenings (from 6-7:15pm) and she pushed me along the process without hesitation.
In the in-person interview with the Customer Support Analyst team, I found out that the only position she passed me through to, was a 10 hour/4 day shift that had absolutely no flexibility. They expect you to be available for a rotating schedule and they do not take any exceptions. They do not stagger their shifts, forcing employees to either work from 6-4 or 10-7. They want their employees to be stagnant and they do not care about personal growth. The only position in the entire company that has this rigid schedule is the position she forced me to apply for. She wasted my time and money.
And while this may be nit-picky, she didn't even send me a calendar invite for any interviews, phone or in-person. This is just unprofessional and frankly, annoying.
