Just wanted to share a horrible interview experience with FIS which I had recently.
I had applied for the position of QA Engineer through Naukri and got an Email Invitation by the HR for Technical round on Saturday.
I was informed that this was scheduled Interview but when I reached their office there were 250 candidates.
After waiting for entire day I was interviewed at around 4: 45 pm.
On Monday I got call from HR to tell that I have cleared the round,also he asked me about notice period which I cleared up and he was okay with it then. Hence he scheduled Managerial round on Friday.
I attended the round and was asked to leave since I was told my notice period was too long.
HR responded rudely to the doubts I had asked over email and he/she never received my call in the entire course of 2 weeks. As a prospective candidate I felt it was completely unprofessional of the HR's lack of communication. I feel like the hiring process can be improved and be more transparent irrespective of the outcome. Interviewees invest their valuable time and money while attending the interview and this sort of uncanny behavior by the HR can cause a dent in the company's hiring process. To recapitulate, the company should learn to respect an interviewee's time/money or else get hold of a better HR resource who can be more considerate to acknowledge the interviewee.
