I had an amazing experience during the interview process. It didn't feel like an interview at all but rather a chill two-way conversation. They come with their own questions and encourage me to ask anything I want to know about the company and the Team. We touch upon some technical points and most importantly just an overall culture fit. The entire process took around 3 weeks.

Company seemed very nice as overall brand and culture, as well as their mission. I went through all stages, first was interview with Business Automation manager instead of HR which was quite new for me, but went quite well and he was a very nice guy. He asked me non stop behavioural questions straight all 40 minutes.
After that I got a home task assignment and one week to complete. I actually made a lot of effort to complete it and also enjoyed it, i would not say it was a hard task but very open-ended for your creativity.
After that I got technical interview with two engineering managers for 1,5 hours (which is incredibly long). Where I was asked system design questions and in general all possible imaginable questions (architecture, performance, security and again some behavioural questions). I would like to mention that these engineering managers were two absolutely amazing and friendly guys, I enjoyed talking with them.
Then I reached to final interview with Product Lead and VP Engineering which looks like I didnt pass, because after that I got rejected. This interview was not very welcome, prob they already knew they will reject me and didnt have any enthusiasm (not listening to my answers, asking basic questions). Anyway VP Engineering seemed like a very nice person to me though. The reason i was rejected is "no experience with no-code/low-code tools". Which is totally nonsense, because you saw it from my CV from day 1 why then you even proceed until final interview with me?
I would still recommend everyone applying to FINN because company spirit seemed really great to me and I was really disappointed when I got rejected. But be aware that process is very long, for me it took 1.5 month and in the end rejection, such a time waste unfortunately.

The interview process comprised of 4 main stages:
1. A 45 minute call with HR just to know more about you and to give you an idea what what the job would be about.
2. A 90 minute technical call with an engineer. 60 minutes revolved around general tech questions and 30 minutes was a real time code test
3. A 1 hour call with the future supervisor and a member of product. This was to find out whether you would be a fit for their processes.
4. Offer
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Many questions were asked, especially on the general tech questions part. Examples:
- How do you architect code?
- What's your process when you review pull requests? What do you watch out for?
- Which AWS services are you familiar with?
- Have you implemented serverless code before?
- When is it appropriate to use a relation DBMS vs something NoSQL e.g. Mongo? When would it be more appropriate to use one over the other?
- What kind of process do you follow in your current workplace and what you would change about it? This is everything from the software development lifecycle to deployment
Many other questions were asked but you should get the drill by now. These are asked to determine the level you are and whether you have their required skills.
The code test was about a dictionary search and it was done live with the engineer answering questions if you had any and questioning your choices e.g. why you chose to to A instead of B.
