      Entretien

Well, This is an IT company, so if you write Unix, Linux etc you have a better chance. There is 2 way of working with this company: 1) going through their " training and replacement" process 2) apply directly. I applied for the training and replacement process. If you are an electrical or/and computer engineer or any kind of engineer please don't bother with this process. Go and apply directly for one of the jobs that interest you. You can learn whatever needs to be learn through internet really easy. They start with a recruiter on the phone "interview". The purpose of this interview is that to find out do you have any idea what you actually get into! As you probably know this is 2 year bonded contract which pays you 40k for the first year and 45k for the second (they recently raise this pay! it was even less!) Also if you breach the contract you got to pay 30k! for the training and investment they did on you! ( the training is not worth that much!) There is no way you fail this so don't sweat it that much Next round is the assessment day! you go through 2 round of 7 minutes interview ( one technical and one behavioral) and bunch of math, logic, etc problem! If you are an engineer don't sweat the tests that much. It's in grade 9 and 10 level. They give you a link for youtube videos to watch before assessment day in a brochure just watch those to refresh your memory! As you now! this is a day so you got too much time to waste! For that they give you bunch of puzzles and they claim that you are being watched through the process and how you tackle this problems! ( They treat you as a kid!) There is no way you've being watched, there is no camera and the room's door is close! some of the questions are interesting and challenging though. Eat a good breakfast, they give you a tinny lunch at 1 P.M which in my case was 6inch subway and I forgot to eat a good breakfast so I was starving. Summary: If you are in your 20s and interested in IT work sure go for it! if you are in your 30s and have no clue how IT industry work go through the process to learn. If you don't speak a good English or you are a shy guy this is not bad for you. The thing they do make sense if the bonding contract was a year not 2!

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Depend on your resume! If you put java, linux , unix etc they ask you those! I find out that the Java deloper interview was much technical. My case was mostly around Excel and data management. Explain loop in C programming to a 6 years old!?

I applied online, then had 2 phone interviews, 1 online assessment, and 2 Skype interviews. Online assessment was not hard, just need to know how to read simple pseudocode and flow charts. One of the skype interview was technical interview and the other one was a behavioral (strengths) interview.

J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez FDM Group (Richmond, VA) en sept. 2017

      Entretien

FDM was recruiting on campus at my university and they caught my eye so I started the interview process with them. I had a preliminary phone call, a video interview (where I recorded myself answering questions given to me through prerecorded videos), an online assessment, two phone interviews (one behavorial, one technical) and one Skype interview. The interview process became very disorganized once the phone interviews began. I was supposed to have a phone interview and a technical Skype interview back to back. However, the phone interviewer had no idea that I had a Skype interview after and told me that only a phone interview had been scheduled for me before asking me interview questions. The phone interview went over time and the Skype interviewer did not know that I was in another interview so they could not reach me. I ended up having a second phone interview to make up for the initial Skype interview I missed, and then a final round Skype Interview.

Very easy, first phone call was with recruiter to go over resume, then take math, pseudo code, and writing test, second an interview with an Academy trainer, asked similar questions to the first phone call. Last was an interview with a Account manager, asked similar questions but they are more interested that you can communicate well.

      Question 1

They mainly just asked to go over your resume, and prior related experiences
