Firstly, it felt as if interviewer was least interested in taking interview. The person herself didn't had much information about the firm. It started with introduction, then asked about any projects I have done, then asked about what I knew about FDM.

I recently went through the interview process for the IT Operations Practice at FDM Group but ultimately decided not to move forward. The program structure sounds appealing at first — you sign a contract, complete three months of training, and then interview for client placements. However, after reading the details carefully, some major concerns stood out.
While FDM markets this as a great entry point into tech, the reality is less promising. If you get placed, you earn a salary of
$50K per year as per the contract signed for 2 years which is far below industry standards given the workload, location and client expectations. On top of that, you’re locked into a two-year commitment. If you decide to leave early, the company can charge you around $75 per training hour, which works out to roughly $40–50K, effectively trapping you in the contract.
My advice: do thorough research before signing anything. Check Reddit threads and other Glassdoor reviews — many share similar experiences. FDM might suit someone absolutely new to IT with no other options, but for most candidates, it should be a last resort.
