you are asked to fill out paperwork and you are hired so long as you pass a background check. They never conduct drug screenings because they are happy to hire anyone that has a vehicle They ask you where all you have been in the past 10 years because they run a background check in every state that you have been in. They also make you fill out a form to send off to TSA for clearance to pick up and drop off to the airport. You also have to sign a waiver stating that if you contract aids, herpes, or any other blood borne diseases or viruses from medical deliveries that they are not responsible. you carry all of the risk and it is not very rewarding. I just said OK... and signed my soul away

take drug test. provide proof of insurance. agree to back ground check. sign paper work. mouth swab for alcohol, unsupervised urine test. agree to fifty two cent per mile pay rate calculated by using map quest shortest possible route, sometimes calculated using roads that are closed or do not exist. interviewer was nice, but quoted incorrect pay and schedule when i was hired, meaning my weekly pay was $180 less than i was told at interview. multiple promises to make that money up to me were not followed through
