I was contacted by a designer (not HR or recruiter) for an interview. We scheduled the call and they said they'd call me at my number. I waited and waited. They called me 45 minutes after the time our call was scheduled for. We chatted, they asked me a bunch of HR questions from a list and then told me that the rest of the team didn't want to interview me but they (the interviewer) really liked my portfolio. I thought we'd had a good enough convo, even with the weird and somewhat irrelevant HR questions. My skills and experience are an exact match for the position and they said they'd get back to me the following week. I followed up the next Friday after hearing nothing, and I've still heard nothing. They totally ghosted. Overall, a super unprofessional and disappointing experience.
