I had a chat with a recruiter which was very nice and moved onto the next stage. I had a 1 hour interview and then at the end I was told that I have the least amount of experience than other candidates and was rejected.

While I enjoyed the interviews and the possibility to ask questions and learn how the team works together, the whole interview process was extremely long and overcomplicated. Having in total 5 interviews over the course of 2 months is not reasonable. Especially when communication is definitely not their strong side. Had to follow up after each interview to receive updates - all this makes it hard to take them seriously. Before my last (5th) interview I was asked to provide 3 contacts for references, and they never reached out to them. At this point I realized they are stringing me along, and unfortunately I still had to wait over a week to receive a final update that they will proceed with another candidate, again with no feedback or explanation about this decision.

Question 1
Give an example of a time you had to deal with a big change during a project; how do you keep different teams and stakeholders updated during the project; how do you organise your own tasks.....
Plus, lots of behavioural questions.

Their HR department is very new and busy so the communication wasn’t great throughout the interview process. I would be told I’d hear about next steps by a specific date and then not hear until days later. I had 4 interviews over the span of a month and was made promises in my final interview that should not be made of you aren’t going to hire that candidate. I was expecting to hear fairly soon after my final interview because I was told I could either start remote or be moved down to work on-site approximately 2 weeks from the date of my final interview. I waited 4 days then followed up. Literally 3 minutes later I received the most unprofessional, panicked call from their recruiter who informed me they “forgot to tell me” they weren’t offering me the position. It left a bad taste in my mouth, which is too bad because I really liked the company and everyone I met during the interview process. It’s fine I didn’t get the job, it’s not fine to string candidates along and give them false promises of employment when they are not guaranteed an offer. I felt very disrespected as a candidate and a person.
