      J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Expert Systems (Berlin) en juin 2021

      I applied for a job on their website and a couple of days later I got a call from HR and I was asked what time suits me best for an interview. It was a bit weird as I thought that no ones calls to arrange an interview , they usually send an email. But anyway, the HR manager was very nice, kind and polite and we have arranged an interview. What was also a bit weird, our interview did not start out like the regular interview where HR gives an introduction. The HR manager asked me "Do you have any questions about the company?" I mean, you don't start the interview like that. but okay, I was well prepared and did research about the company and what they do. overall the interview went well and smoothly. The next step was an aptitude test, which was conducted by some yoga company, which consisted of 14 parts (!), And in some of them there were about 100-140 questions about my personality. WHY? Am I going to work for NASA? The recruiter said the test might take 2-3 hours, but I think I spent at least 5 hours. I think in total I answered around 800 questions! After I completed the test, I received a response that I was not selected as a successful candidate for the advertised position. I was fine with that, but I expected to get a more specific answer.

      Dear candidate, thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience during our recruiting process. I fully understand, that you are disappointed for not being chosen. ProvenExpert.com is not group of companies or so big, that we only send emails to candidates we would like get to know better. And sometimes it's better to make a phone call to arrange an interview via telephone instead of sending 4 emails back and forth. Because candidates who are looking for a job mostly do a research about the company, if they do care where they want to work. So, to save your time I just asked you about your questions to the company. The aptitude test is not provided by a yoga company. It was developed by the 2 American psychologists. Because the personal fit and the team work is very important for us. This is why we are using this test. Also to give you the safety that your potential future colleagues are a good fit for you. One reason, you are not selected could be, there were other candidates who would be a better fit according to cultural fit, experience and expectations. We understand, that you are interested in the reason for the rejection e-mail. Unfortunately, we cannot explain the exact reasons of the rejection to everyone due to the vast amount of applications, that we receive. Often there are minimal qualification differences, which are decisive in order to continue in our recruiting process.
