J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Expedia Group (Gurgaon, Haryana) en avr. 2016

      Entretien

Interview process was simple. None of the rounds was elimination round.it was a pool campus drive. Round1:2 people took the first round Little bit about excel, competitors, resume based, situation based, internship, why expedia, comparison between expedia and it's competitors, how can expedia gain upon it's competitors. Round 2:only 1 person was there and she seemed very disinterested throughout the interview she told me to repeat my answers and was not even listening that showed her lack of interest. resume based, SWOT analysis of expedia, competitors

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Expedia Group (Londres, Angleterre) en janv. 2021

      Entretien

Overall very pleasant experience, timely response and friendly interviewers. The process was as follows: 1. I submitted my application online late November, 2020. 2. I received an email from the recruiter within the same week, scheduling for a phone call for next week. The call was mainly about my background, motivation (why Expedia and why did I want to move from my current job) and salary expectations. 3. 45-minute video interview with one of the hiring managers the following week. Questions were mostly competency based and related to my work experience. 4. On the same day, I received a message about proceeding to the next round, which was a case study, that I would have to finish and hand in within 5 days of receiving the task. 5. Upon handing in my submission I received a reply immediately after, that I had proceeded to the final round. 6. The final round was scheduled after Christmas & NYE, where I had an hour to present my case study solution to two product analytics managers, one product manager as well as the director of product analytics, followed by a Q&A session. Immediately after that I had three back-to-back 30-min video interviews with first the Director of Product Analytics, then one of the product analytics managers and finally one with the product manager. These were mainly competency based questions as well as some behavioural ones. There were a few SQL questions as well. 7. I received an offer call within less than a week of the final round interview.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Mostly competency based questions to determine your fit with the team, e.g. tell me about a time you've had to deal with disagreements within a team, questions related to your experience with working with stakeholders etc. And some behavioural ones like tell me about a time you dealt with failure, questions related to your motivation to joining the company etc. And a few technical ones based on a piece of pre-written SQL code, point out any errors and/or suggestions for improving it.

I interviewed in their Gurgaon Office. Their HR (Nitin) could not be less responsive. I hadnt even applied myself. Nitin called me up and convinced me to come for the interview. They called me on a Saturday. On Monday Nitin Called me up and told me that given my experience they would like to hire me at a senior analyst level (and not at the Analyst level that I interviewed for) for which they were awaiting approval from the US stakeholders. After 2 weeks of waiting he called me up and asked for my payslip. I was pretty confidant that I had got through. But I never heard back from him again. No replies to my email and he didnt even bother to pick up my phone after that. Now what I fail to understand is what kind of an HR would ask for a payslip without intending to make an offer. Really bad experience.
