      Entretien

Oh, the horrors of Apex. I wish that I could describe for you the horror of these people and their ability to annoy their candidates for their clients. I have never felt so used or so annoyed. I was lied to when I first submitted my resume -- they had informed me that the client would not require a face to face interview -- which they later did. I first started talking with Apex for the position in November -- did not get through the process until January. Be prepared to take a long time. Next, you were called everyday by the recruiter -- and it wouldn't stop. Even though you knew about the interviews and all the times involved, they still called you every day. While some might see this as considerate, if you didn't have an interview for say two weeks, you would still be bothered every day. It's like they purposefully bothered you and never let you have a moment to yourself. They were unrelenting in their desire to get their portion of your salary for that contract to hire position. But they never seemed to understand that you had a life and sometimes were unable to deal with their nagging. For those of you who are adults and don't need a mommy to hold your hand, Apex is not for you. Finally, after interviewing with the client (when they said that you wouldn't) and lying to you and telling you that you were the top candidate (again, all to get them their money, not to assist you in finding the right job), when the client wasn't thrilled with you (even though you interview well) and passed on you, they said that they would let you know what happened and then guess what? After they tell you that they will call you with the reason you didn't get the job, you never hear from them again. I find it strange that they won't tell you what happened, unless they knew that they had lied to you and told you that you were the top candidate when you weren't. Of course, this is the only solution that makes sense. So, please stay away if you don't want to be lied to or taken advantage of -- and good luck in finding a job, because Apex won't help you.
