Good experience. Contacted by the senior engineer/team lead for an interview. First round were basic culture fit, job description, getting to know you sorts of questions. Second interview was a online coding interview (virtual) on hackerrank. The interviewer sees your code as you type and you have to solve a DS/Algortihms type question with the test cases provided. Pretty straightforward.

First round was with HR rep + manager, this went pretty well. I was clear that I was stronger in Python and not very familiar with React/javascript and hadn't worked with it before, just code reviews. I got scheduled for a live technical interview - I expected a Hackerrank live coding challenge or any link. Instead I got emailed a zip file one minute before the interview, and it was a handful of files and a testing assessment I had to download to my personal computer, share my screen to my personal and do it from there. I was caught off guard because I don't do any work like that on my personal laptop, but on another computer. I wish they told me that was the format, I could have been more prepared. Also, the assignment was for Javascript which I haven't really coded in before and was assigned to their Java person, so it was more unfamiliar. I've also never done a technical interview sharing my personal computer screen before, mostly links to external sites. A lot of time was wasted since I was configuring my personal computer during the interview and re-downloading stuff. The interviewer was very nice about it, but this was not a good experience. If you get called for a technical interview, please ask for details and don't assume the live coding interview is an external share-view link but instead prepare to do it from your personal
