J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. J'ai passé un entretien chez Ethos Group (College Station, TX) en oct. 2016
Entretien
I submitted my resume through my University's online career portal where Ethos Group had a posting for a Finance Manager. I was contacted by a recruiter about a week later to set up an on campus interview to be held a week later. I was given confirmation both by email and phone. On the day of the interview the representative that was supposed to interview me was a no-show. A career center supervisor got into immediate contact with the recruiter that set up the appointment and the recruiter acknowledged that a representative should be present for the interview. Days after the would-be interview, I have not been contacted by Ethos Group to reschedule an interview nor extended any acknowledgement of a screw up on their side. Not exactly a reflection of professionalism.

The entire process took about a month. Very in-depth interviews to make sure you’re the right guy. Some tests you take seem obsolete but they really focus on them later in the process. Well worth it!

It was very personality based interview. Also some questions about the position. You are then assigned the reading to Message to Garcia and your short term and long term goals.

Applied online. First interview was in person with 3 reps from Ethos. They ask questions about you and how you got to this point. Next they will have you do homework about Finding Garcia. Then they asked me to write down my short and long term goals in the dealership and in life. I met with the owner and one rep from Ethos at the dealership. Seemed like the owner wanted me to work as a salesman before I went into finance which wasn’t the job description. I felt there wasn’t a finance opening Bc of the way the owner was talking. The Ethos rep asked questions like “are you ready to work 16 hours a day” and said my first week working as a finance manager will be very tough. However it seemed like the owner and the rep were on 2 separate pages. Which was a little odd. So you should ask directly is “there a finance manager position available” at the first interview so they will not be any confusion. A little over 2 weeks and I heard nothing for them. I email my rep 3 times and no reply. I wish they at least say something.
