The Process: I applied for a position, which turned out to be a face-to-face insurance sales agent role. The interviewer was more than 30 minutes late for our scheduled appointment, showing a complete lack of respect for my time.
The Discussion: The interview lasted for an hour, during which the recruiter was evasive and refused to provide clear, concrete information regarding the basic salary and fixed compensation structure. Instead, they focused on unrealistic and exaggerated promises about potential future earnings (specifically mentioning figures up to €20,000/month) to shift attention away from the actual contract terms.
Professionalism: When I mentioned my background, the interviewer actively tried to downplay my 3 years of corporate experience at a major financial services/asset management institution, labeling it a "medium-sized company". This attempt at gaslighting demonstrated a severe lack of market awareness and unprofessionalism.
