It was an unusual interview as the peer did not speak much and it seemed the manager already made a determination before sitting. The position has been vacant for several months now. I don't think there is a talent deficit especially considering how many HR professionals are out there. It appears that they don't know what they're assessing nor do they have the proper etiquette to make their candidates feel comfortable.
