I do not recommend trusting this company. I had multiple experiences of being lied to by the recruiter. It seems that this company has a culture based on lies and nepotism. I always ask during the initial interview with a company about the interview process, such as whether all the candidates are in the same stage or if some are already close to receiving an offer. The recruiter informed me that all candidates were either at the initial stage or had completed the second interview out of a total of five interviews. During my second interview I was told that I did well and would receive a third interview. However, I received a generic rejection email from the recruiter. When I asked why, given that I had been told I would receive a third interview, she "apologized" for whatever I may have been told during the interview and explained that there were other candidates who were further along in the process and closer to receiving an offer. So not only did she lie to my face during the first interview, she apparently doesn't care what the person from the second interview said. I am extremely skeptical of the values of this company. I believe that this recruiter was trying to control the process and get someone she knew the job and sending candidates who may not have actually been rejected, rejection emails. The person who would be working with the hired candidate every day was a person of color, and during my second interview, she had said that I would get a third interview. If the recruiter disregards what this person says during the interview, then why even have her conduct the interview? It seemed like many people within the company were trying to get their friends hired and were playing games behind their colleagues' backs.
