      J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Emma (Frankfurt am Main) en mars 2022

      Entretien

      I sent in my application in January and didn't receive any update for one month, that is completely untrue for what they claim 1-2 weeks reply time on their website. I had to reach out to the HR myself on LinkedIn. Their reason for not reaching out, because I lacked certain language qualification which they required on the job description. I did prove and explain that on my motivational letter, which they clearly didn't even take a look at it. Then I got invited to the first round of interview with HR. Second round with business development manager and marketing manager was very rushed and fast-paced. They even interrupted my train of thought at some point, and told me to stop and move onto the new topic, which I find it very rude and disturbing. Sometimes, they could surprise with some unexpected questions: Give me a reason why we should not hire you? Also, during the case study I found a rookie miscalculation mistake in their questions, which they had never realised.

      Question 1

      First interview: A lot of personality questions were posed and a case study of fictional markets index analysis for which Emma should penetrate. Second interview: Overlapping personality test from the first interview; case study of pre-discount sales vs. discount sales; deductive question to estimate the market size in a region with your knowledge of the market (population, buying habit...)

We really appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we are continuously improving our processes. We are very sorry that your process took so long as this isn't how we normally handling our candidates. We provide three application questions instead of a motivational letter we like our candidates to answer when they apply. This questions are targeted towards the motivation for Emma are truly taking into consideration when a candidate is applying. We try to get the most out of the interview, to really understand the candidate and the potential. That's why we are interrupting sometimes if we see that we didn't make a question clear or the answer is leading in a different direction.
