I had an interview with Elevance. The initial recruiter sent me an invitation for an interview. The invitation had no specific description of what the interview would be like. So, like any normal applicant. I would assume it’s an initial interview that gives information about the position. It wasn’t. My first interview was a technical/coding interview. Jumped right into the IDE to begin coding. I hadn’t coded in C# for a while. Remembering syntax would be difficult if you haven’t coded in C# for some months. I asked if I could use Python because it is syntax friendly and I could provide the logic that way. The interviewer said no. They said I would get another chance at an interview. Then, later sent me an email saying they moved on. This is clearly an unorganized and terrible place to work for. They didn’t give me a chance to prepare for a coding interview. Provided no information on the position. I could imagine how they treat their employees.
