I was proactively approached by an "executive recruiter" at Anthem (I work at another Blue plan). I responded indicating I would be interested in a discussion. That was June 8. I received a response on August 4 with an apology for the delay. For all I knew, this person could have been out on sick leave or had a death in the family, so I rolled with it. I scheduled a conversation during the workday and blocked my own schedule for this conversation. The recruiter was 20 minutes late to a 30 minute appointment and said he lost track of the time zone. Ok, I rolle with it. After a very hurried and disjointed conversation--as he had a hard stop for his next meeting--he asked to schedule additional time, apologizing again. I followed up with an email directly to him with several times from which to choose. No response in a week and a half. So, thus ends my experience with Anthem and I am underwhelmed.
