Applied online. Contacted by internal recruiter within days of applying online. Phone interview the following day lasting approximately one hour. Manager invited me to an on site interview with a couple of the managers and a HR representative. While at the interview the managers preached how Eaton had very strong ethics. However, they surely do not practice what they preach. They told me at the end of the interview that they wanted me to have a phone conference with another manager in Teaxs who could not be on site at the time of the interview. They told me he would call me on Thursday (two days later) and that I should expect his call in the afternoon. Call never came. I then contacted the HR rep by email to verify if there was a misunderstanding or miscommunication. The HR rep did not bother to respond to my email. The next day I recieved a call from original mnager that I had phone interview with earlier in the process. He said they would not be moving forward with me because they said I had a lack of industry knowledge. He did not bother to aplogize for lying to me or wasting my time about the supposed call from the other manager. In this day and age it is hard to believe a company would so blatantly ignore the ethics that they preach. I can not and will not reccomend them to anyone else based on this experience.

The first interview starts with general questions about the resume, skills, experience, and project. Then the interviewer asks questions about location preferences, relocation ability, and visa requirements. After that, the candidate can ask any questions or the interview can be over
