Availability was the most important thing, they look for college freshman so experience isn't required. They will teach you what you need to know. Your responsibilities can grow if you are willing to take on more tasks, and it takes time but you will eventually be compensated for that work. They are slow to notice hard work but when they do, they will fight to keep you around.
