Pre Recorded Video Interview. We can do at our convenience. They gave 48 hours of time. You will have 2 attempts to answer each question.
Basically, they send you a link to the Vidcruiter platform, and you just follow the steps.
You can do the interview whenever you want before the deadline to submit, and you can (I think) do it in multiple sessions.
You can do a test video (you're asked to just record yourself talking about your favorite hobby or last vacation or whatever) so you can get comfortable with it, and check your mic and lighting.
When I did mine, the questions were provided one a time, and NOT all at once, like in a "live" interviews.
You get the question, have maybe 10 minutes to prepare an answer, then you record it, and move on to the next Q. It's not like live interviews where you get all the questions and have 30 minutes or so to prepare.
It's actually somewhat similar to panel interviews in that there is no interaction. Just as an assessment board won't (and can't) prompt you for more information or redirect you, the video interview just records whatever you say.
So...all the same tips for live interviews apply for video ones, as well.
Structure your answers. Speak to the question directly. If the question has sub elements, be sure to speak to all parts of the question (What did you learn? What would you do differently? etc.) Keep your response focused on yourself. Provide adequate context, but not too much extraneous detail. If you're presented with a hypothetical situation, explain how YOU would navigate that specific situation.
