Recruiter phone call after submission of resume , scheduled for forty five minutes, promised to pass me along ... met with friends who are already working at the firm who also wanted me to join but doesn’t appear to be any openings

Three stage. Internal recruiter, manager, senior manager. Package was discussed up front without prompting. Difficult to get an into review with the manager but was kept informed throughout. About two weeks between positive final feedback and confirmation of offer.

The interview process was slow and painful to say the very least. It took 3+ months starting from recruiter interview, a technical interview with the team (90 minutes long), an interview with another technical director, another with the hiring manager who wanted me on board and I was waiting to receive the offer letter. That followed by an interview with the some head of resourcing who was trying to find the right project for me to join, took my salary expectations and asked to wait to receive an offer. After weeks of follow ups, the recruiter reverted and said I'll need to interview with the VP to get his buy in. After all these interviews and weeks of follow ups, I was finally told by the recruiter that the VP didn't have a project on his team for me to join and recommended I speak to another team. After going through 6 interviews over a span of 3+ months, I couldn't take it anymore. The interviews itself were easy (I have a technical background) but I was so pissed off with the hiring process that I gave up and moved on. If they were so indecisive during hiring process, working for the company would probably be a lot worse. My advice, stay away from these folks who don't value your time.

Long process that resulted in an offer that was different from what was shared verbally. I was ready to join but couldnt after receiving an offer that was less than expected.
