AWFUL- The process started with a few phone interviews and eventually an on-site interview in the Richmond office. Although the interviews were perfectly fine, the recruiter I was working with throughout the process was completely aloof. I'm pretty sure I never would have gotten subsequent interviews if I wouldn't have followed up with the recruiter. There were weeks between each interview and any form of communication. After my final interview, I was given an extremely long writing prompt. I submitted it to the recruiter and didn't hear anything for several weeks. I followed up a few days later to ask when I would hear back. She said I would know something in the next few weeks. I never followed up as the entire process was so painful and I decided I didn't want to work for a company that had no respect for my time or acknowledgement of my effort throughout the process. I'm not totally convinced I didn't get the job- I think the recruiter may have completely dropped the ball or the position wasn't a top priority as it still hasn't been filled 6 months later.
