Took a "call" through the local Electrician's union, and was dispatched to the company. Unless they saw some immediate impediment to employment, I am pretty sure they were obligated to give me a try per the union contract. Usual intro the company, safety protocol, introduction to relevant PMs, etc. I was surprised to never hear "safety is number one," a watchword in the industry these days.
