What happened is that I applied in person with my resume and application first. I had a on site interview with the manager himself since I was already dressed (I was wearing a nice buttoned down shirt and kahakis)
I was then asked some questions such as "how do you describe yourself" or "are you studying"? The former was answered as "I am a friendly person that is easy to work with" The latter i answered yes because I am taking classes in the fall. I provide my schedule for the fall to give a picture of my avaliability for that season
I was also asked the "customer complaint " question about expired donuts i think. I anwered that apologize and fix the order or provide a refund. However, my manager/interviewer told me that i should report to him about it since the donuts are expired.
Overall, the interview was all about avaliability and personality. To wprk in food service, you need an upbeat and can do personality. You will probrably be facing difficulties if this is your first food service jobs but it depends. Be sure to be upbeat to get through , you want to be likable enough for the customers, your manager, and your co-workers, negativity goes out the door
Good luck

It was very very easy, they basically just asked my availability and customer service experience. It was more like a conversation not an interview. They called back the same day.
Was pretty easy. they asked few questions. I answered pretty nonchalantly, and they responded pretty basically. Overall solid interview. Couldn't ask for more. Would rate ten out of ten. They asked about my experiences.
Was asked very simple questions covering things like availability, ability to handle cash, how much i expected to be paid, and the interview ended with a handshake and job offer
