Started as a 1st round, focused on restructuring where I was asked pretty basic behaviorals and technicals (DCF, accounting, and valuation). Quickly progressed into restructuring questions which were somewhat basic, but necessary to understand what restructuring is, why it happens, and how it works. Invited back for second round which was more in-depth on restructuring specifically. Far more difficult technical questions. Overall smooth process. No return offer.

If a company has senior debt of $350mm, subordinate debt of $300m, equity of $50mm, and an enterprise value of $500mm. Walk me through the payouts, debt waterfall schedule, and the percentage returns for each debt/equityholder.

Very simple first round interview, a couple of simple technicals and behavioural, no RX questions though. Seemed very informal and there was not a lot of structure in the interview.

Online application on their website, followed by a couple of online assessments (calculations, brainteasers, etc.). First round was in person/online, and superday a few days after that. Applied for LA office.

Started with classic questions (tell me about yourself, why us, why internship, and so on). Quick part with the 400 IB questions, especially accounting ones. Third part was about restructuring specific questions: what is a PIK, how is it reflected in the statements, types of debt, ch.7 and 11, maturity. Be ready for some paper questions.
