Applied via website. A few days later, recruiter sent me an email for a group interview. The email also stated that they are only conducting interviews for one day and they are not available to do any accommodations for other times and dates. Confirmed for the interview via email. Arrive to the interview a bit early. As the time went by, I come to realize that I was the only one for the group interview. After several minutes a gentleman approached me and the interviews started. He informed me that I would be the only one for the interview. He looked bothered and annoyed. He didn’t even bothered to see my full resume whatsoever. Asked me 3 questions and then he asked if I had any questions. I asked when would Drybar rule a decision for the position. He informed me that he had rescheduled some interview for the next day when the email specifically stated that they were doing no accommodations.(this makes me to believe that he already had someone in mind that he wanted to hire prior to the interviews). When I asked if the interview was for the store location, he looked more upset because I was asking questions that he didn’t bothered to share with me since the beginning. Before he rushed out of the store, he informed me that Drybar would contact me in a 24-48 hours time frame in regards to position. Well Drybar never reached out to me in the time frame that the gentleman stated. I had to reach out to Drybar in regards to status. A few minutes later, I got the decline email from the recruiter. Sorry to say this, but most of the reviews of candidates have posted on indeed of their negative experiences are completely true. I do hope that Drybar read these reviews So that this type of interviewing practices can be prevented in the near future.
