Recruiter was highly responsive and the overall experience was smooth, even though no offer was extended. I went though a total of 4 rounds, 1 recruiter call, 1 hiring manager call, 1 system design interview where I was asked to basically design Doppel's main product, and 1 coding interview / virtual on-site that lasted a total of 4 hours. For the coding interview, in the first 30 minutes I was given a project and asked to do a bit of screen sharing while I completed the first portion of the project, which is allowed AI coding assistance, then 2 hours to complete the rest of the project as "take-home" and at the end of the session, there's 30 minutes to recap and walk through what I coded. The live coding took me a bit by surprise since the interview schedule listed the first 30 minutes as "overview" and no mention of coding, but overall I thought the interview process made sense in what it was trying to assess.
